Using concrete in a changing environment series - part one of four.

The climate emergency is forcing all professions across the built environment to consider how to lower the embodied carbon of the structures they design and build.
The 2022 Using concrete in a changing environment inaugural e-conference was dedicated to helping structural engineers understand how to assess, strengthen and reuse existing concrete structures to extend their life and reduce the impact the built environment profession has on the environment.
Featuring presentations from the e-conference, the first webinar in this series focuses on concrete construction solutions to achieve efficient and durable designs and specifications.

Reasons to watch

  • Understand how to achieve efficient concrete solutions

  • Learn about durability design and specification for major infrastructure

  • Hear about low-carbon cement and their link to concrete

Intended for

  • Structural engineers

  • Designers

  • Contractors

  • Material engineers
