The IStructE is a charity and the world's largest professional body for structural engineers. We have a global membership who have designed many of the world’s iconic structures.

Creating safer structures for the benefit of the public is at the heart of our remit, as well as working to promote environmental sustainability with structural engineers and the Institution at the heart of the impact construction has on natural resources and climate change.

Digital Marketing Executive
Digital Marketing Executive- Candidate Pack

As the Digital Marketing and Communications Executive, you will work with the marketing team to deliver multi-channel marketing and communications projects from inception to end to help the Institution achieve our core mission of supporting and promoting the structural engineering profession. The Digital Marketing Executive will be required to collaborate with internal and external clients while working on campaigns that support the recruitment and retention of members at all grades, as well as the marketing of our commercial products including events, CPD courses, and publications to ensure that revenue targets are met.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a truly varied role utilising the entire marketing suite, including client briefing, campaign planning, content creation, and analysis and reporting.

Senior Engineer (Digital Workflows and Computational Design)
Senior Engineer  (Digital Workflows and Computational Design)- Candidate Pack

The Senior Engineer (Computational Design) takes a leading role in supporting and developing the technical awareness and understanding of integrated computational design and digital processes across the Institution and its members in meeting our safety and sustainability goals and advancing the science of structural engineering. 
Through the Digital Work Flows and BIM Panels the Senior Engineer develops digital guidance and tools. The Senior Engineer engages with industry and represents the Institution on digital and computational design matters.

Membership Applications Supervisor
Membership Applications Supervisor (Candidate Pack)

The role of the Membership Applications Supervisor is twofold. Firstly, the role holder will have responsibility for supervising the work of the two Membership Qualifications Executives, ensuring that all applications are processed within agreed timeframes and in an accurate manner. Part of this will also be to understand and review the processes that are followed by the team, making improvements where appropriate. Secondly, the Supervisor will manage the development and implementation of the Institution’s policy in relation to Continuing Professional Development and will work collaboratively with other teams within the organisation to ensure the completion of all activities associated with the mandatory review cycle.
